(Cerritos, CA) The second track meet for the Compton College Women's Track and Field Team on Saturday, Feb. 19th, in the Cerritos College Opener.

Tia Spears had a phenomenal day on the track as she placed in the top two in all three of her events. Spears came in first place in the Women's 400 meter finals hurdles with a blazing time of (1:08:45) and placed second in the 400 meters finals with a time of (1:01:01). Spears rounded out the day with finishing second in the 100 meter hurdles as well with a time of (15:35). This is the second track meet Spears has finished in the top two of her events for the season.

Next track meet will be on the road at Cal. State LA, on Saturday February 26th
