Women's soccer suffer their first conference loss 5-1

Compton, CA-

The Compton College Tartars team plays with significant effort but lose their first game of conference play to second ranked opponent MT. SAC Mounties to a score of 5-1.

The tempo of the game moved really fast as there were swift passes and good ball placement that made it tough for the Tartars to keep up. However the Tartars played really tough and were not intimated one bit by the Mounties. 

Izzy Montelongo put the Mounties on the board first with a score in the 5th minute on an assist from Fatima ArnoldAva Ochoa 33rd minute, Arnold 47th minute.

The Tartars would respond with a goal by Nayeli Naranjo  to cut the lead down to 4-1. Mounties player Ochoa would score again in the75th minute,accounted for the other Mt. SAC goals.

The Tartars will look to get back on the winning track when they host conference opponent Pasadena City College on October 11th @ 2:00pm.
