Compton, Calif. - Sophomore Carina Perez led the Tartars in shots, including one on goal, but the Compton women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 contest to Glendale on Friday evening.
Sophomore keeper Rosalyn Ascencio counted seven saves on the day, while sophomore Marisol Mercado also tallied a pair of shots.
The women's soccer team (2-2) heads to Cerro Coso next on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. contest.
