Compton, Calif. - Freshman Ray-Ann Rudon went 1-for-1 with a triple and a run, but the Compton softball team dropped a 10-1 contest to El Camino in five innings on Tuesday afternoon.

Freshman Yazzmine Arrington-Edwards also went 1-for-1 on the day.

Rudon (3-5) also threw the complete game in the circle for the Tartars, scattering three hits.

The Tartars (12-22, 0-8) take another break from South Coast Conference action, heading to West LA for a doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 13. The first game is set to begin at 11 a.m.
