Compton, Calif. - Freshman Ray-Ann Rudon went 2-for-4 with a double and a triple, but the Compton softball team (3-6) dropped a 15-7 decision to East LA (8-3) on Thursday afternoon.

Rudon added three RBI and a run in her offensive efforts with four putouts and an assist in centerfield.

Sophomore Joanna Guevara also earned two hits on three at bats with a run and RBI at first base.

The Tartars continue their homestand by hosting Golden West for a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17.
