Compton, Calif. - The Compton Tartars men's soccer team suffered a loss to their conference opponent the Los Angeles City College Cubs to a score of 3-0 in their annual Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Game.
The Tarters goalkeeper Anthony Pina gave a valiant effort with a total of seven saves for the game, but could not withstand the 3 out of 10 total of shots on goal.
The team played hard throughout the game but was unable to create a scoring opportunity to close the scoring margin.
The men's soccer team will be on the road for their next game against conference opponent Rio Hondo on Friday, October 15 at 2:00 pm.
