Keith Hollimon enters his 14th year of coaching with his transition to the Compton Tartars. Keith began his coaching career as an assistant at Mt. San Antonio College in 2007. While there the team won the CCCAA State Championship in 2013.  He transitioned to the staff of Pasadena City College for the 2016-17 season and coached there for 4 seasons. He has coached 5 California Community College All-Americans, as well as the South Coast Conference MVP’s in 2103, 2015 and 2016. He served as the Director of Basketball Operations for AGBU from 2009-2014 and lead player and coaching clinics in China in the summer of 2016.

In addition to coaching, Keith comes from a basketball background as both a college player and as managing partner of Frontline Sports Management from 2001-2007. In that capacity he represented professional athletes who played domestically and internationally, hosted international teams, and provided oversight to training and workout programs. He also coached his athletes in the Summer Professional Basketball League at the Long Beach Pyramid, as well as in games organized against foreign professional and national teams. 

Keith is from Las Vegas, NV, where he played basketball at Las Vegas High School. He then played at Azusa Pacific University where he earned a basketball scholarship and served as team captain from his sophomore to senior years. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Azusa Pacific University. He then went on to receive a certification in mediation and his Juris Doctorate Degree when he graduated from People’s College of Law in Los Angeles, California. As he prepared for his coaching career, he obtained his Masters in Kinesiology from California Baptist University.  Keith has also served on the Board of Directors for the On-Deck Foundation, an organization that provides athletic opportunities for at risk and underprivileged youth.

He enjoys spending his free time with his sons Kendall, age 21, and Deven, age 19. He has been married to his wife Kathy for 24 years.
