Compton's Zoe Holman Named To Men's Basketball All-State Team

Zoe Holman, who helped Compton College's men's basketball team win this year's South Coast Conference South Division title, was selected to the 2025 CCCMBCA All-State Team.

Holman, the MVP of the SCC South, led Compton to a 20-10 overall record and a 9-game winning streak that included a Southern California Regionals playoff upset win by #20 seed Compton over #13 MiraCosta. Compton's Cinderalla season ended with a Round 2 playoff defeat v. #4 Mt. San Antonio.

Holman scored 39 points in the two playoff games and finished averaging 17.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.2 blocks per contest. He led the state in overall steals with 106 and in per game takeaway average at 3.5.

Holman was sixth in the entire 12-team conference in shooting percentage, making 55.7 of his shots from the field. He was third in the SCC in free throws made with 155 (74.2 accuracy).

The sophomore guard is the first Compton player to make the All-State Team since Jayvon Brown and Anthony Fitzpatrick were each chosen to the 2017 squad.

Compton was directed this season by SCC South Coach of the Year Keith Hollimon.
