Compton, Calif. – It was announced on Saturday that Compton’s very own Dominique Alexander earned the CCCAA/ CCCSIA January Student-Athlete of the Month. Alexander recently completed his second season with the Men’s Basketball team. He is only the second student-athlete from Compton College to receive the CCCAA Student-Athlete of the month.

During the month of January alone Alexander averaged 30.1 points, 9.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 4.4 steals per game. In a game against LA Trade Tech, he posted 40 points and went 19 for 20 from the free throw line. Alexander then went to have his first triple-double of the season in the game against Pasadena City posting up 21 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists.

The Tartars finished the season with a 13-15 overall record and 5-5 conference record for the 2019-2020.
