Compton, Calif. – Sophomore Craige Slaughter and freshman Graciela Gomez were announced as the Octobers’ Student-Athletes of the month.

Slaughter collected 24 tackles throughout the month of October and seven assists. He had 50 tackles with 30 of them being solo tackles. Slaughter also collected one interception in the game against LA Valley. Throughout the season

Gomez participated in two different meets in the month of October dropping two minutes. Throughout the season she dropped a total of 8 minutes and progressively improving at each meet.
