Warriors Wrap Up Regular Season with Dominant Win over Compton

TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College finished off the 2024 regular season with a 3-0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-13) South Coast Conference victory over Compton on Wednesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.

The Warriors had 11 players record a kill on the night, led by sophomore Aireon Scott's 11-kill performance. She made just two errors and posted a .529 attack percentage.

Scheala Nielsen added nine kills with Yasmin Watanabe adding eight on 11 swings for a blistering .727 kill percentage.

Perla Lopez and Erica Griffiths combined to dish out 31 assists with Zariah Honeycutt leading the defense with 10 digs.

For the Tartars, Victoria Sibrian led the offense with 10 kills.

The Warriors never trailed on Wednesday night and attacked at a .308 clip for the match. They also recorded 12 service aces with Nielsen providing half of those with six on the night.

The Warriors finish the season with a 9-13 overall record and 4-4 mark in conference play.
