Compton, Calif.- The Compton Tartars Men's Basketball celebrate Sophomore night against the Cerritos College Falcons

The Tartars sophomores were celebrated in their last home game against the Cerritios College Falcons in a losign effort of 100-63. Romaro Hutchinson led the attack from three point range with two made threes and a total of 15 points. While the sophomore A Al Najim Ashley, led the team in scoring and leadership throughout the game like the talented sophomore has all season.

The Falcons came to the Tartar gym with revenge on their mind after they suffered defeaft to the Tartars in a previous battle of 70-68. In their second matchup the Tartars had a difficult time slowing down the Falcons offense as they shot over 50% from the floor and scored 59 points in the first half to get out to a quick start. The Tartars continued to play a strongwilled game to honor their sophomores, but could not manage to overcome the hot start of the falcons.

The men's basketball team (11-14, 5-5) final game will be on the road Wednesday, February 23rd at 5:00 pm against the Rio Hondo College Roadrunners (3-22, 1-5).
