Tartars beat El Camino Warriors 116-82

Compton, Calif.- The Compton Tartars Men's Basketball team was on an offensive attack as they beat conference opponent the El Camino College Warriors to a score of 116-82.

The Tartars had their highest point total for a game so far this season with 116 points. The Tartars were led in scoring by sophomore Gabriel Ajemian who had a career-high 44 points. Ajemian was very efficient from the field as he shot 88% from the floor. The offense was efficient as they had a team field goal percentage of 56%.  Everyone on the Tartars roster scored a basket in the win, which displays the total team effort in the conference victory.

The Tartars currently sit in first play with a (2-0) record in conference play. The team seems to be playing well at the right time. The men's basketball team is currently undefeated at home and will look to continue to defend home court throughout conference play.

The men's basketball team (7-8, 2-0) next game will be at home on Wednesday, January 26th at 5:00 pm against the LA Southwest College Cougars (11-5, 1-1).
