On Thursday, April 13 the Men's and Women's basketball programs celebrated 10 new student-athletes who committed to being part of Compton College athletics. The 10 athletes come from local high schools around the area such as Inglewood, Westchester, Norwalk, La Mirada, Leuzinger, Fremont, Fountain Valley High School and Opportunites For Learning Public Charter School.  Women's head coach Lewis Neslon stated "I am excited to bring in student-athletes who I can help teach the game of basketball to and I am thrilled to introduce these student-athletes to all the new and improved buildings campus has opened for all students and staff. I am ready to help direct them to the many resources Compton College has to offer."

Compton College athletics would like to thank Coach Nelson and Men's head coach Keith Hollimon for their dedication to their programs.  We cannot wait to see these student-athletes on campus again and on the basketball court.
