Compton, Calif. - Congratulations to football's Arsiah McCorker and women's soccer's Dulce Aguillon for earning the Compton College September Student-Athletes of the Month honors.

Arsiah McCorker, the speedy sophomore from Jacksonville, FL had a great September as he accumulated a total of 300 yards receiving, 23 catches and three touchdowns for the month of September. One of his several highlights for the month was his 87-yard touchdown reception against LA Harbor College, totaling 101 yards on three catches and one touchdown in that game. He also had a total of 10 catches in the game against West LA College totaling 95 yards and one touchdown. In the game against Santa Monica he put up 83 receiving yards on six catches with one touchdown. 

Sophomore captain Dulce Aguillon had a strong performance throughout the month of September for the Compton College women’s soccer team. Her performance was highlighted by her game against San Diego Miramar where she scored two outstanding goals. Throughout the month she helped the Tartars apply pressure on the net as she accumulated six shots. She had two shots as well against Desert College, where she constantly applied pressure on the net.
