(Walnut, CA) The 2022 season got underway for the Compton College Women's Track and Field Team on Friday, Feb. 4, in the South Coast Conference Opener at Mt. SAC.

Tia Spears had a phenomenal day on the track as she placed in the top five in all four of her events. Spears came in second in the Women's 300 Meter Finals with a blazing time of (43:00) and placed third in the 60 hurdles finals with a time of 9.67. This is a great start to the season for the Women's Track team.

Next track meet will be on the road at Cerritos College for the Cerritos Open Meet, on Sunday February 13th
