(Compton, CA) Mt. San Antonio College (13-1) ran its win streak to six with an 81-59 South Coast Conference crossover win against host Compton College (5-9) on Friday, Jan. 5.

The Mounties' Nick Hopkins led all players with 25 points and 14 rebounds as teammate Elijah Cirilo added 15 points.

Mt. SAC held a 41-27 edge in rebounding and shot 47.6% from the field as the Tartars connected on only 26.2% of their field goal attempts.

Ranked No. 14 in the most recent California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association state poll, the Mounties return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 10, in an SCC crossover game at Long Beach City College (6-8) at 6 p.m.
