Compton, Calif. – It was announced on Monday that Sophomore Andranae Powns from Women’s basketball and Freshman DeAnte Wilkins from Men’s basketball earned November’s Student Athlete of the Month.

Powns is currently the leading the team in points earned and is averaging 18.3 points pergame. She is also averaging 7.8 rebounds per game. Powns currently ranked third overall in the South Coast- South Conference in both points collected and three-point percentage.

Wilkins earned student-athlete of the month for being a well-rounded asset to the team. He is currently averaging 12.9 points per game and 8.4 rebounds per game. Wilkins is currently top overall in total rebounds collected for the South Coast- South Conference.
