Compton, Calif.- Freshman Brian Lopez had a nine-minute drop in his 5-mile run today bringing his personal record to 31:04.30. The Cross-Country Team competed against multiple colleges and universities on Friday morning at Don Knob Community Regional Park which all Tartar athletes achieved new personal records.
Freshman Graciela Gomez had a near 8-minute drop in time in her 5K run. Freshmen Carlos Solano and Juan Ramirez competed in their first cross country meet while also leading the Men's team.
The Cross-Country team will compete again at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational on Friday October 18.
