Compton, Calif. - The Compton Tartars women's soccer team encountered their first home loss of the season to their conference opponent the Cerritos College Falconsin a final score of 1-0.
Falcons forward Jaque Adame was fouled in the box at the 57th minute which resulted in a penalty kick that she converted to a goal to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead.
The Tarters played hard throughout the game but were unable to create a scoring opportunity to tie the game.
The Compton College women's soccer team will be at home for their breast cancer awareness "pink" game against conference opponent Los Angeles City College on Tuesday, October 12th at 4:00 pm.
