Compton, Calif - It was announced on Tuesday that sophomore Ivett Acevedo has signed with Ottawa University in Kansas to continue her soccer and educational career. Acevedo completed her first season with the Tartar's Women's Soccer Team during the Fall 2019 season. 

Acevedo served as a midfielder for the Tartars. She started in almost every game of the 2019 season as she collected a total of three goals and four assists. During the game against Oxnard, Acevedo scored the penalty kick and game winning goal.  

The Ottawa Braves participate in the NAIA and are members of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Braves finished the Fall 2020 season eleventh in conference and with an overall season record of 3-8-2.
