Compton, Calif. -  Sophomore Nia Ingram put up a team-high 17 points as the Tartars (0-7) fell short, 73-45, against MiraCosta (6-4) in the home opener on Wednesday evening.

Compton Athletics November Athlete of the Month, Freshman Andranae Powns, contributed to the effort with 10 ppints and 5 rebounds on the night. Freshman Niea Ulmer continued her presence in paint as she earned her thrid straight game with double-digit rebounds with 16.
