Compton, Calif. - The Tartars (6-23, 1-16) lost their first game of Saturday's doubleheader (7-1) against the Barstow Vikings (11-16, 3-7) but Sophomore Yazzmine Arrington-Edwards went 4 for 4 collecting three RBIs and scoring once as she led the Tartars to victory during the second game (8-3).
In Arrington-Edwards' performance she also hit a double and triple and collected three strike outs as she pitched all seven innings.
Freshman Troy Peters went 3 for 3 driving in four runs. Sophomore Blanca Hernandez had an RBI single as she went 3 for 3.
The Tartars will face the LA Harbor Seahawks at home on Tuesday Apr. 16 for 3pm contest.
