Compton, Calif. - It was announced on Tuesday afternoon that Sophomore Alfredo Trujillo was awarded the 2019-2020 Men's Performance of the Year for his hat trick completed on September 27 in the game against the College of the Sequoias. Trujillo completed two years with the Tartars' Men's Soccer Team.  

Trujillo scored the first goal of his hat trick in the 23 minute of the game to lift the Tartars to a 4-0 victory over the College of the Sequoias. He counted his second goal in the 32 minute and his third in the 51 minute. He collectively had eight goal attempts with five being shots on goal which earned him the performance accolade.

Trujillo was elected to First SCC- South Division All-Conference Team. He started 17 of the 18 games played for Compton in the 2019 season and earned his First Team title for his 14 goals made throughout the season. First Team Trujillo was ranked third overall in the division for goals made, shots attempted, and points earned.
