Compton, Calif. - Freshman Jordan Griffin scored a game-high 20 points in the Compton men's basketball 74-62 rout of Grossmont on Wednesday evening.
Freshmen Aaron Taylor and Dominique Alexander rounded out the Tartars in double-figures with 15 and 12, respectively. Griffin and Taylor both counted eight boards each, and Griffin added five steals.
Compton (1-1) heads to the San Bernardino Valley College Alvin Hunter Classic next, facing West LA on Friday, Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. to begin the tournament.
