Compton, Calif. – It was announced last week that sophomore Trent Scott has committed to Ohio Wesleyan University to continue his football career. 

For the 2019 season, Scott was a defensive back for the Tartars, completing 13 tackles, 10 of which were solo tackles. He averaged 2.6 tackles per game. He also made the Southern California Football Association All-Academic Team for 2019 and received the Scholar Athlete Award for the Fall 2019 semester. 

The Ohio Wesleyan Bishops participate within the NCAA Division III and are members of the North Coast Athletic Conference. The Bishops finished fourth overall in conference with an overall record of 7-3 this past 2019 season.
