Compton, Calif - It was announced on Sunday that sophomore Samuel Contreras has committed to attending Ohio Wesleyan University to continue his football career. Contreras completed his second season with the Tartar's Football Team this past Fall 2019 season. 

Contreras primarily served as a linebacker for the Tarars yet he also participated on special teams as well. He completed 18 tackles, 12 of which were solo tackles. Contereas also assisted the Tartars as a punter for one play in which he gained a total of 37 yards. 

The Ohio Wesleyan Bishops participate within the NCAA Division III and are members of the North Coast Athletic Conference. The Bishops finished fourth overall in conference with an overall record of 7-3 this past 2019 season.
