Compton, Calif. - Sophomore Michael Fletcher was the starting pitcher for the Tartars (1-4) in the match up against Grossmont College (4-2) . Fletcher struck out 7 batters, allowed seven hits, five runs, and walked three during his six innings on the mound but the Tartars still fell short.
Sophomore Noah Ford went 2 for 4, with two RBI's for the Tartars.
Compton Baseball plays again at home against the Fullerton Hornets on February 7th at 2 p.m.
