Yoshida Signs with Concordia University Irvine

Compton, Calif. – Sophomore infielder, Shoma Yoshida, has signed with Concordia University Irvine to continue his baseball career, announced Monday.

Yoshida completed his second season with the Tartars this past spring. During his time with the Tartars, Yoshida had a total of 38 hits with 1 triple, 2 doubles, and 15 RBIs. Serving as an infielder for the Tartars, he had a total of 46 putouts and 79 assists. Yoshida earned an All-South Coast Conference South Division second team accolade this past season. He begins his career with Concordia University Irvine in Spring 2020.

The Concordia Eagles are in the NCAA Division II and compete within the Pac West Conference. They finished their 2019 season with an overall record of 23-24 and finished fourth in the Pac West standings.
