Compton, Calif. – Freshman catcher, Dominic Masciel, has signed with Campbellsville University to continue his baseball career, announced Tuesday.
Masciel completed his first season with Compton's baseball team this past spring. During his time with the Tartars, Masciel had a total of 53 hits with two homeruns, 14 doubles, and 31 RBIs. Serving as a catcher for the Tartars, he had a total of 212 putouts and 34 assists. Masciel begins his career with Campbellsville University in Spring 2020.
The Campbellsville Tigers are a NAIA team and compete within the Mid-South Conference. They finished their 2019 season with an overall record of 32-20 and were the Mid-South Conference Champions for the second year in a row.
