Compton, Calif. – Freshman Anthony Reyes went 1 for 3 with a RBI single, but the Compton Tartars (5-22, 2-11) lost to the El Camino Warriors (23-4, 11-3), 11-3, on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Mike Hernandez also went 1 for 3 with a RBI single. Sophomore Nick Redick brought in a run for the Tartars after stealing home in the 7th inning.
Sophomore Andy Rosales (0-4) started on the mound for the Tartars and went four innings, allowed five runs and struck out three.
The Tartars go against the Cerritos Falcons at home, April 4 for a 2:30 p.m. contest.
