The Compton College Baseball team was on the road this past weekend traveling to San Diego Mesa College.  On Saturday, April 8, The Tartars beat San Diego Mesa with a score of 5-2.  The team had a great pitching performance by Joseph Giunta who came in and pitched 6 2/3 innings allowing 3 hits, 2 runs with 3 strikeouts. The Tartar's also had strong team offense producing 10 hits, 2 doubles and 4 stolen bases.

The team gets back into playing conference teams this week and is scheduled to play Mt. Sac on Tuesday, April 11 and Saturday, April 15.
